In 2006 The Trike Shop began branding its trike conversions as "Roadsmith Trikes". The reason for this change was that "The Trike Shop" was often mistaken as a dealer for other brands of trikes, not a trike kit manufacturer.
Back in 1972 when the manufacturing company was established, "The Trike Shop" was a very unique name. Today, with the hundreds of trike dealers, the use of the words "Trike" and "Shop" are widespread and commonly used in dealership's names.
We hope you enjoy our new brand "Roadsmith" as much as we do. Same quality, same history, just a new name.
